ACCV is currently undertaking a short survey of members operating Independent Living Units (ILU). The purpose of the survey is to determine residents’ eligibility for Council Rate discounts and the means by which property rates are determined and levied across the ILU industry. This survey follows advice provided to ACCV regarding the variable way in which council rates are determined and applied to ILU residents and/or ILU operations. The results of this survey will inform how ACCV might undertake further work. ILU operators are asked to complete one survey per each ILU operation managed by the organisation. The survey closes at COB, Friday 10th July.
