Retirement Living

ACCV provides leadership and industry advice to Members who provide Retirement Villages and Independent Living Units (ILUs).

Advice 

ACCV maintains an ILU Retirement Living Strategic Task Force and an ILU Networking Forum which meets every three months. The latest government thrust to provide affordable housing under the National Rental Affordability Scheme (NRAS) banner is also covered under this section.
 
ACCV also works in conjunction with the Retired Veterans Association (RVA), Consumer Affairs and the Department of Justice to provide input to any changes that are proposed for the Retirement Villages Act Victoria.

ACCV provides a range of services to support providers who offer Retirement and Independent Living services including:

• Access to an ILU/Retirement Living Network Forum
• Policy representation and development
• Resource development and provision
• Access to an advice information line
• Conferences, seminars and events to provide information on Retirement and Independent Living services
• Advocacy and industry representation
