Membership Services

The development of a range of ACCV Member Taskforces covering areas such as Residential Care, Community Care, Bush Nursing, Human Resource & Workplace Relations Issues, Legal & Industrial Issues and Media & Public Relations, offers Members an opportunity to actively provide input and feedback to the development of all issues papers and policy statements produced by ACCV as the leading aged care body in Victoria.

ACCV supports a range of ACCV Member Taskforces & Committees

As well as a Metropolitan Member meeting, ACCV also provides a range of Regional Meetings for Members

Activities

These groups meet regularly and offer members an opportunity to provide input and feedback to the development of issues, papers and policy statements impacting on the industry and also for the provision of clarity and guidance on specific issues in their areas of expertise. The groups also offer members networking opportunities with their peers in areas of expertise. Membership of some Taskforces and Committees are by invitation only and others are restricted to certain designations/professions (e.g. Finance Discussion Group is open to qualified accountants CPA/CA’s only). 

Under the guidance and support of ACCV Managers, the groups regularly invite guest speakers to address meetings to provide clarity around issues affecting the industry, to provide exposure to new products coming onto the market, to provide clarity around legal, workforce development and recruitment issues, to discuss impact of changes in taxation, accounting standards, and other legislation that may affect the industry. Participating members will also contribute to the strategic directions of the industry, conduct information gathering and contribute to the construction of survey questionnaires.

Administration Arrangements

ACCV provides agendas and minutes for all meetings and key information is provided to the ACCV Board directly from these meetings.
