Short Courses
The Australian Government is offering free training opportunities to eligible students working in northern, eastern and southern metropolitan regions.
The aim is to provide opportunities for personal care workers in the residential and community sectors to undertake training opportunities to contribute towards industry recognised qualifications.
To be eligible for the free training, students must be:
- A personal care worker (i.e. PCA, PCW, lifestyle staff) who is employed by an approved provider
- Working in the northern, eastern or southern metropolitan regions
- An Australian citizen or permanent resident
- Not currently undertaking training in other Australian Government-funded training programs
- Not employed through an agency
