Introduction

Community Care is a complex array of services supporting many older people our community everyday.

ACCV’s Community Care members include services funded by the Home and Community Care Program (HACC), National Respite for Carers Program (NRCP) and as well as packaged care including Community Aged Care Packages (CACP) and Extended Aged Care at Home (EACH) and EACH–Dementia packages. Some of our members are also private home care services who also partner with funded services to deliver high quality home care.

Community Care Taskforce 

ACCV’s very active Community Care Taskforce is bringing the sector together to address the issues of the day and has exerted strategic influence in voicing its concerns to government and impacting on many consultations and reviews to help create amore viable and effective system of community care. 


ACCV's Role 

Paul Zanatta is the ACCV manager responsible for Community Care and is available to provide advice and answer questions for ACCV members and relevant stakeholders.

ACCV sits on the Aged and Community Services Australia National Community Care Advisory Committee, the Aged care Association of Australia Community Care Committee and the Victorian Government Department of Human Services’ Home and Community Care Departmental Advisory Committee.
